We will be attending the European Conference on Cosmetic Science and Regulatory Strategies in Munich on 26 and 27 October 2026: this new conference, chaired by Dr Nico Raczek, brings together innovation, regulatory affairs and cosmetic science.
The presentations will cover new scientific insights, global compliance, digital transformation or sustainability. The aim of the event is to help shape the future of cosmetics.
Innovative Plant Molecular Farming
Session 8 on 27 October will focus entirely on regulatory developments. At 3.30 pm, Dr Caterina Deganutti, Head of R&D and Cosmetic Actives at our supplier Transactiva, will present Plant Molecular Farming as an innovative approach to the production of cosmetic active ingredients.
Using the active ingredient LenEasy® as an example, she will examine the regulatory framework, focusing on safety assessment criteria, purity standards and robust testing strategies. LenEasy® is a plant-based polypeptide that has been specifically developed to modulate TNF-alpha activity and is particularly suitable for dermocosmetic and medical skincare.
